My client, a specialist B2B furniture supplier based in Manchester city centre, is seeking to appoint an ambitious Supply Chain Administrator into a developmental role that will see them progress through to Supply Chain Manager. 

A newly created role driven by the group’s continued growth, which is largely attributable to increased brand awareness, product discovery and building their profile with new and existing customers alike. Their digital strategy is to evolve a B2C e-commerce offering to attract consumer purchases directly and enhance their remit and sales funnel. The successful candidate will be a highly driven Supply Chain professional. You will be motivated, prepared to challenge current processes and ways of working, whilst building out scalable processes that work alongside numerous sales and marketing growth plans. You will take the lead in managing stock of multiple product areas and the supply network – inclusive of freight and factories. The role requires a methodical approach, ability to problem solve and enjoy taking on new challenges.

You will be accountable for the performance of the Supply Chain, including the achievement of all KPIs including stock management, supplier compliance and budgeting/forecasting of new designs to ensure margin is met. This position plays a pivotal role in contributing to the ongoing growth and the ability to understand product lifecycle (identifying discontinued/clearance products), working to a pre-agreed budget and the ability to negotiate with suppliers is essential, taking a firm stance on pricing to maintain low costs.
