Outstanding Management Accountant opportunity with a rapidly expanding, Warrington based £45m t/o UK operation of a leading $Multibillion t/o Global Pharmaceutical business. Reporting to the Site Financial Controller - and working alongside an Analyst and credit controller - this is an all-encompassing role covering both Management & Financial Accounting with the FC focussing more on business partnering with the MD and general manager. Your remit will include:  
  • Monthly Management Accounts Preparation, Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
  • Variance Analysis & Reporting
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Business Partnering with Department Managers
  • Intercompany
  • Fixed Assets
  • General Ledger
  • Liaising with Group Treasury re cash management and control
  • Ensuring IFRS and UK GAAP compliance
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of the Statutory Accounts
  • Dealing with Auditors and yearend financial audits
  • Development of best practice financial controls and procedures
  • UK and ROI VAT
  • Corporate Tax
  • EC Sales and Intrastat
  • Car lease management  
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years in a similar profile position and whilst full or final stage CIMA/ACCA qualification is preferred it is not essential. Previous SAP experience is an essential prerequisite and SAP S4 HANA in particular would be advantageous. You will have broad financial and accounting skills and will have an analytical and methodical approach and track record of ensuring deadlines are met in time and with 100% accuracy. You also have the personality and gravitas required to forge strong working relationships with non-finance and finance colleagues across the business.
