- Supporting the preparation of the groups external reporting including statutory accounts, strategic and Value for Money reporting
- Providing robust and effective financial support across the Group
Supporting with the production of subsidiary annual financial statements for external audit - reporting to Group Boards and Board Committees and external filing as required
- Ongoing development of robust financial controls and procedures
Assisting with Group VAT and tax returns for consolidation/external submission to statutory bodies
- Maintaining General Ledger reconciliations
- Group consolidations of management information including key financial performance indicators, budgets, forecasts and plans
- Assisting with the production and management of the group’s business plan and subsidiary business plans
Applicants will ideally be Fully Qualified - although later stage active studiers will also be considered – who have previously worked in a financial reporting/accounting department – ideally for a Housing Association or a similar sector. You will have good commercial awareness and the ability to build strong business partnering relationships across a broad audience of key stakeholders.
