Hybrid working (3 days remote, 2 day office - can initially be 100% remote)

Business Intelligence (BI) Manager opportunity with the undisputed UK leader in its field, a business that - through securing a number of new projects over the last 2 years - has seen turnover doubled to £100m through 2020 with further similar scale growth forecasted through 2022, and beyond.  As Business Intelligence Manager your remit will include:  
  • Operating as the lead in the preparation and development of key business intelligence to enable efficient, effective, and commercially focussed performance reporting at company and division level
  • Managing a team of BI Analysts and BI Developers
  • Using SQL and Power BI to design and develop, accurate, timely and user-friendly Business Intelligence Dashboards/Reporting suites
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure business reporting requirements are delivered in an efficient and cost-effective manner
  • Managing the ongoing production of daily, weekly, periodic and annual performance analysis
  • Acting as the second signatory to ensure that robust controls are in place for the accuracy of the data presented
  • Ensuring reporting tools are fully utilised
  • Completing monthly trend analysis and reporting on findings
  • Establishing a culture of best practice and implementing changes to improve performance
  • Contract KPI analysis
  • Customer contract reporting - including service standards
  • Volume reporting on key metrics at a contract, provider and office level
  • Conversion rate and sustainment reporting
  • Caseload analysis
  • Flash reporting
  • Working as the workstream lead for new contract implementations
  • Researching market opportunities
  • Competitor analysis and reporting
  • Ensuring reporting processes and procedures are fully documented and constantly reviewed in line with changing business and customer requirements
  • Developing and maintaining strong professional working relationships with Operations colleagues
  • Ongoing development and maintenance of the processes utilising the iMacros software
  
Applicants will have previous experience in a management level MI, BI or data analysis role, with strong Power BI and SQL skills and a track record of creating/updating Power BI to meet evolving business demand. You will have advanced analytical skills with the ability to produce accurate, interactive and user-friendly Business Intelligence to meet the needs of an audience at all levels across the organisation. Previous staff management experience is essential and Visual Basic skills, use of Power Automate and/or Python would be advantageous.
