Accountancy Practice
£35000 - £45000

My client is a well established and highly regarded firm with an office in Bootle.

Due to continued client growth; new client wins; and a view to the future,  a great opportunity has arisen to join the team in the role of Accounts Senior.  Reporting to the Accounts Manager and Partners your role will be varied covering:-
  • Responsible for the continued support of a small portfolio of clients
  • Encouraged to further develop the portfolio
  • Preparation of annual statutory accounts, requiring limited if any support
  • Attend client, year end meetings with Partners
  • Assist clients with varied project work as & when required - such as grant and / or financing applications; forecasting; budgeting; & business planning
  • On-boarding new clients
  • Draft tax computations - including CT600s and self assessment
  • Assisting clients with VAT returns
  • Producing client quarterly management accounts and general bookkeeping
  • Working across a full range of entity structures and sizes across a full range of sectors - as you would expect with a true, general practice
  • Experience and confidence across a range of systems such as Xero, Sage, Quickbooks and excel and supporting clients to ensure they are trained in the software
