Description

My Wilmslow based client requires an Accounts Assistant / Cash Book Clerk to join the team. This is an attractive opportunity to join a business who really value their employees. You will report into a longstanding and knowledgeable Accounts Manager and duties include:-

  • Daily input of cash book receipts, payments
  • Weekly Bank Reconciliations
  • Weekly Banking
  • Maintain authorisation and raise ad-hoc manual cheques weekly
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly payment runs for telephone and mobile phone accounts
  • Monthly payments of council tax and business rates for all stock and business properties
  • Communicating by e-mail and telephone both internally and externally
  • General filing/scanning
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required

Person Specification:

  • Good spreadsheet skills
  • High attention to Detail
  • Ability to work will people at all levels
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Good organisation skills are essential
