Description

Based in the heart of Liverpool city centre, our client is a well-established & highly regarded company who are a market leader in their field. Joining the business in a highly visible, high profile Financial Controller role you will report directly to the Head of Finance with a broad remit including:

  • Managing a finance team of 3
  • Supervising the preparation of statutory accounts and VAT/Tax returns
  • Completion of year end technical papers
  • Reviewing the completion of bank and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Budgeting & forecasting - cashflow and balance sheet
  • Managing the audit process
  • Contributing to company financial strategy and decision-making process
  • Financial analysis and reporting
  • Ensuring robust financial systems and processes are in place
  • Overseeing tax and compliance
  • Developing forecasting models (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
  • Accountability for Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable
  • Accountability for all Group reporting requirements
  • Updating the business on legislative changes

Applicants must be fully Qualified ACA or ACCA (CIMA with relevant Technical Financial Controller experience will also be considered) with a minimum of 5 years post qualified experience. You will be have broad technical accounting skills and a track record of achieving robust sound financial control through the development of controls/processes and staff development.
