Our client is a rapidly expanding UK division of a Global Engineering FTSE with a turnover at £50m and on track to double in size over the next 3 years. In this high profile, newly created role you will report directly to the Financial Controller in a business facing, business partnering role were you will work in collaboration with Project Managers & Divisional Directors to meet the companies objectives. Your remit will include:
Monthly Management Accounts for your own business divisions
Multi-Site Project & WIP reporting
Budgeting & Forecasting
Variance Analysis & narrative
Working closely with Operations Management to ensure cost and revenue targets are met
Challenging provided figures to ensure accuracy
Finance lead for new business pricing & tendering
What if scenario modelling
Development of a more modern & effective financial/operational KPI & MI reporting pack
Monitoring profit performance
Identifying business risks, issues and opportunities
Assisting with monthly flash figures for sales/forecasted profitability
Applicants will be fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA and will have previous Project Accounting, Management Accounting and Business Partnering experience gained within the manufacturing/engineering sector. You will be familiar with working closely with non-finance senior management, providing the required financial information and commercial input to support sound decision making. You will have Strong IT skills - including a good standard of MS Excel - and SAGE 200 would be advantageous. You will thrive in a fast paced, demanding, evolving business where no two days are the same and will have a thirst for continuous improvement and change implementation. Applicants who are available on a "temp-to-perm" basis would be of particular interest but this is not essential.
