Description

Our client is a rapidly expanding £4m t/o Construction Business based on the Wirral who are recruiting for a stand-alone part time bookkeeper to take responsibility for all financial aspects of the business - with the support of the companies external firm of accountants. Reporting directly to the Managing Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly Management Accounts, Profit & loss and Balance Sheet
  • Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Credit Control
  • Work in Progress Reporting
  • Budgeting & forecasting
  • Cash Flow reporting and control
  • VAT Returns
  • Sub-Contract
  • Payroll

Applicants will be fully qualified AAT and will have previous Bookkeeping/Financial Controller experience gained within an SME environment - preferably within the construction/engineering sector. You will be familiar with working in an all-encompassing Accountant role reporting directly to the board, supporting non-finance senior management through providing the required financial information to support commercial decision making. Applicants who are available on a "temp-to-perm" basis would be of particular interest - but this is not essential. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a successful, well regarded business in a broad & fulfilling role within a friendly and supportive team. This is a 24 hour a week role paying up to £23,000 across these hours (Approximately £35k pro rata).
