About Howarth Morris

Progressing businesses, progressing careers.

Co-Owner and Director

Discover the stories from the individuals and organisations whose recruitment needs we’ve successfully met.

Upon graduating from Liverpool University, I landed a place in a Graduate Training Programme for a FTSE 100 Retail Group.

After progressing through a number of North West based roles, I moved to London to work in their Head Office as a Commercial Analyst working up to promotion to Retail Operations Manager.

In 1999, I made a move back to the North West and into the recruitment sector.

Now, I have worked in finance recruitment for almost 20 years, and I love it. I’m as passionate today as the day I took on my first recruitment assignment!

Clients and Candidates can rely on me for genuine, credible advice and a solution tailored to your own specific recruitment needs.

I’ve supported the recruitment needs of SMEs to FTSE 100s and UK divisions of large multinationals and over the years at Howarth Morris, we’ve seen fledging clients grow to multinationals and seen multinationals flourish and grow to global market leaders.

It’s been a real honour to work with these companies while seeing the candidates we’ve placed add real business value and support them in driving to the next level.

My proudest moment at Howarth Morris so far was when the business was recognised by CIMA in their National “Recruitment Agency of the Year” awards in just our 3rd year of operation.

1 – What is the one cuisine you can’t live without?

For me, it would be Nando’s. I live for a Double Chicken Wrap with Peri Peri chips and Macho peas!

2 – How do you unwind in the evening?

On a ‘school night’ my favourite way to unwind is hitting the sofa and progressing through a decent box set with Mrs Morris. At the weekends it’s a trip to the cinema (big Star Wars and Marvel fan!) with my family as well as catching up with friends over wine and the occasional single malt.

3 – Did you know…

I enjoy karate, HIIT, running, badminton, camping and Tough Mudder.
