Job Description

Howarth Morris are looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Clerk or for a £multimillion turnover engineering business in Warrington. This is a temp to perm opportunity which has been created due to a restructure of the department. The successful candidate must have a solid background working with the full remit of Purchase Ledger in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing high volume of invoices
  • Ensuring VAT is correctly accounted for
  • BACs and multi-currency payments
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Cashbook posting
  • Banking
  • Dealing with all supplier queries
  • Accurate and timely period end reporting
  • Ad-hoc duties

Candidate Requirements

  • Good level of Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience of working in a busy accounts environment
  • Stable work history
  • Strong personality
