Due to continued growth (the business is running 8-10 projects at any one time) the need has been identified to strengthen the finance team with the recruitment of an experienced and capable Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper on a permanent basis to work in their beautiful West London Offices.
Reporting to the Finance Manager your duties will be varied and extend beyond pure finance as the business grows. Your duties will include, but not restricted to:-
- General accounting and bookkeeping duties
- Purchase ledger
- Sub contract ledger, including managing the CIS compliance
- Sales ledger & credit control
- Preparation of payroll for approximately 20 staff
- Bank reconciliations
- Ad hoc queries and reporting
- Assisting with purchasing and purchasing control
- General accounting and administration support to the Finance Manager and MD.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience within a similar role and ideally possess exposure to the construction or related industry and experience of Sage 50. You will be detail orientated and commercial with good communication skills and able to speak and develop the understanding of non-finance colleagues.
