Job Description

My growing client in Salford Quays requires an Assistant Account to join their Accounts department. This is a not to be missed opportunity with a business that truly looks after their staff and has a reputation for employee development and progression. Reporting the Finance Manager, duties include:-

  • Assisting with management accounts
  • Posting accruals and prepayments
  • Various reports using Excel including monthly management reports
  • Preparing supplier invoices on Excel
  • Preparing sales ledger invoices
  • Coding PO's raised correctly
  • Cash book - update
  • Analysing credit card spend and reporting spend to Finance Manager
  • Assisting with purchase ledger when needed
  • Creating monthly payment list for purchase ledger
  • Reconciling supplier statements

You will be ACCA/CIMA part-qual and be confident in manipulating large amounts of data in Excel. You will have an enthusiastic attitude towards your work and have the ability to work to challenging deadlines. If this sounds like you please apply within.
