Howarth Morris are excited to be recruiting for a Finance Assistant to join a market leading organisation based in its modern Liverpool offices. Working within a friendly and supportive finance department, reporting to the Finance Manager, the Finance Assistant's responsibilities will include:
- Purchase Ledger/Sales Ledger - checking for missing invoice data, auto-uploading onto Sage 200 and closing down the ledgers
- Overhead invoicing
- Processing company expenses
- Cash allocation
- Bank reconciliation
This job description is purposefully not exhaustive and depending on experience and aspirations the successful candidate will have plenty of opportunity to gain exposure to wider accounts functions.
My client is seeking a determined individual who can work both independently and as part of a small team, has some existing Accounts experience and has ideally been exposed to working towards strict targets and deadlines. The successful applicant will ideally also have strong MS Excel skills including use of pivot tables and lookups and be studying towards the AAT Qualification.
